The last AADCP-RPS funding round was held in November/December 2006 and, at this stage, no new activities will be contracted for implementation under the current AADCP-RPS program which is scheduled for conclusion in May 2008.
AusAID will commence designing the next phase of the AADCP Program in collaboration with the ASEAN Secretariat in early 2007. ‘AADCP Phase II’ will commence in approximately June 2008 after the completion of the current phase of the AADCP Program.

Activities selected for funding through AADCP-RPS have contributed to greater/deeper economic integration of ASEAN to assist it to better participate in the global economy and are closely aligned with ASEAN’s regional action plans and programs.

Funding of between AUD$50,000-$500,000 has been provided for a diverse range of innovative projects designed to achieve sustainable outcomes within a two-year timeframe.

These projects, jointly implemented by Australian and ASEAN partner organizations, focus on achieving sustainable outcomes that will provide ongoing benefits to the ASEAN region and strengthen the overall partnership between Australia and ASEAN.
